VTT – Chemical/Physical separations

VTT´s has excellent continuos or batch wise chemical/physical separation facilities from lab to pilot scale in the field of Forest based Bioeconomy Downstream Processing. Multi-purpose reactors (steel and glass-lined) for evaporations (e.g. falling film evaporation), distillations (packed column distillation, conventional distillation, vacuum distillation) and extractions etc. are available. Driers like vacuum contact driers, spray driers, freeze driers, fluidezed bed drier and flow through dryer are also a part of VTT’s downstream prosessing facilities. Capacities of continuous and batch wise devices are up to couple of cubic meters.
