BBEPP – Pulping technologies

At BBEPP, typical pulping methods include SAA (Soaking aequous ammonia) and sulfite pulping. A suboptimal organosolv pulping process (with EtOH) can also be carried out. Hybrid methods such as chemithermomechanical pulping (CTMP) have also been used on Miscanthus.
