LSIWC – Pulping technologies

Presently Latvia does not have industrial wood pulping. The wood pulping plants in Latvia didn’t meet the EU environmental standarts and were closed after the collapse of the USSR. The LSIWC has laboratory-scale pulping pulping units.

Latvia has developments of waste paper secondary recycling.
