VTT – Pretreatment technologies

VTT’s pulping equipment (see chapter 3.2.1) is well suited also for various types of pretereatments. Extraction or hydrolysis (acidic, alkaline, water, steam) treatments can be done throughout the whole set of reactors at various scales. A 10 l forced circulation digester has been specially modified for steam explosion treatments.
